Whether it’s lime, forest, army or kelly, get ready to don your favorite shade of green, because St. Patrick’s Day is HERE. There’s a lot to be excited about, with traditional Irish food – like Irish soda bread or stew – and parades galore! More than 100 St. Patrick’s Day parades are held every year in the United States. While the biggest celebrations take place in New York City and Boston, the city of Chicago steps it up and dyes its river neon green (using natural veggie dye, of course).

If you want to really impress an Irishman or woman today, try this tongue-twister: Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh (Happy St. Patrick’s Day!).
