Happy 5th Birthday, MyPlate! From improving school nutrition to guiding families toward better health to introducing tons of fun meal ideas, USDA’s MyPlate certainly has lots to celebrate.

Five years ago, the USDA designed MyPlate to help families find healthy eating options, such as varying whole fruits and vegetables, switching up proteins and making half of our grains whole grains.

To mark this special occasion, we’re gifting you with some of our favorite recipes from the MyPlate Recipes Pinterest page that you can enjoy any time of the day!
