Time to Warm Up … It’s National Soup Month

January is National Soup Month, and what better way to warm your belly on a cold winter’s night? Whether you’re partial to barley or bean, beef or chicken noodle, a hearty bowl of soup is one of the ultimate comfort foods.

Countries across the globe have family soup recipes that have been passed down for generations. In fact, it comes as no surprise that soup is probably one of the oldest forms of food—right up there with bread. And do we even need to mention how soups are just plain convenient?
