Healthier Childcare and Out-Of-School Time Programs: By the year 2020, PHA partners, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Bright Horizons, Knowledge University, Learning Care Group, National Recreation and Park Association, New Horizon and YMCA will reach nearly six million kids with healthier food and increase physical activity where the learn and play.
2. Active Schools: More than 16,000 schools are ensuring that more than 9.5 million students across the nation are getting 60 minutes of physical activity daily before, during and after school.
3. Increased Access to Healthier Kids’ Meals: Thanks to partners like Hyatt and Darden Restaurants, more than 28,500 restaurants and hotels are now serving healthier children’s meals – a number that PHA is constantly working to increase.
